Eric Knowles
Eric Knowles is consultant editor with Bonhams Fine Art Auctioneers in London. In 1979 he set up the Art Nouveau and Art Deco department, consolidating his reputation as a respected authority in 19th and 20th century decorative arts, specializing in Lalique glass. He is probably best known for his regular television appearances, which included 25 years on BBC's Antiques Roadshow as well as being resident antique expert on Granada television's This Morning. He is a frequent contributor to magazines including Homes and Antiques, and is The Sunday Times antiques expert. Eric has lectured extensively in the UK and North America.
