Ordering books through our website is quick, easy and safe. Our site is security-protected so you can feel completely confident placing your order online. All of our orders are fulfilled by Littlehampton Book Services. Find out more about security here.

How do I order a book?

You can search for books using the Book search functions in the Search box, or by browsing through all titles under the category headings on the left. To order a book, simply click Add Item, and the item will be added to your shopping basket. You may then proceed to checkout or return to continue shopping.

Your Basket displays everything you have added to it: title, price per item, number of items and subtotal. You can remove books at any time by ticking the Remove box. You should select ‘Update’ every time you make a change. This refreshes the details on the page. You can view your shopping basket or proceed to checkout at any time, by clicking on Basket in the top right-hand corner.

When you are ready to pay, click Proceed to Checkout. If it is your first order you will be prompted to register on our website. This is required, but it is a quick and simple process. Your delivery details will be securely stored in our system, making subsequent orders faster and easier for you. You can change your account details at any time by clicking on My Account.

What if I forget my password?

Just click on “Remind me of my password” and your password will be e-mailed to you.

How can I pay?

We accept the following: Visa, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro, Visa Delta, American Express. Unfortunately we cannot accept Solo, Electron, Diner’s Club or JCB.

How much will delivery cost and how long will it take?

For deliveries to the UK of £15.00 or over, we pay postage and packing. Free delivery is offered on all single orders with a total value (not including postage) of £15.00 or more. It is only available if UK Standard postage is selected. This is available on all orders that would have totalled £15.00 or more prior to applying any discount/promotion.

For delivery to the rest of the world, you can select Economy or Priority delivery

* Europe is the western area of Europe only and includes: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Eire, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.

The Octopus Publishing Group does not profit from any of these delivery charges.

Are there other ways to order books?

You can also order our books by phoning our distributor on 01903 828 503 and paying by card or cheque (payable to Littlehampton Book Services). Please note that delivery charges apply to all UK orders placed by phone.
Note: When ordering by phone, please have the ISBN handy. This helps to avoid confusion and ensures the correct book is delivered to you. The ISBN is a 13-digit number which identifies the book; it can be found in the details when you click on a book on the website.

Unable to order a particular book?

If a book's listing says "Title is reprinting", this means that all the stock is out in the marketplace and, therefore, it can't be purchased directly from us for the time being. Instead, please visit Amazon or Waterstone's to purchase the book online, or visit your local bookseller.
